Panspermia: Life From Space

We tend to assume that life began here on Earth. But it’s possible that life originated on an alien world and in some form or another was brought here. In this video, we discuss the possibility that life originated somewhere else, either on a planet or asteroid, then spawned life here on Earth. ►Click here to subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCB0fFWQLZ2oj-FaoDUG_wow?sub_confirmation=1 ►Written, Produced & Narrated by: David ►Sh .
- As always, I recommend turning on the notification bell so you're reminded when I upload a new video.
- How does she pronouce: "time", "microbes", "Earth" ?
- yo my ancestor's planet got exploded man thats sad to think about
- accidental panspermia eh? you mean an alien just sent a poop to our solar system?
- Awesome video! Do you remember me?
- why the 3 dislike(probs religinious extremest) yo david nice vid desurves more than 93 like dood dont stop ppl watch you dude
- I love this channel. Have you considered naming your followers? I suggest, "The Astronauts". :)
- Very well explained 👌👌This term was really new for me in astrophysics
- Excellent, don't understand why some numpties have given dislikes! Professionally produced, great information & good accent. Good stuff, keep 'em coming. 👍👍👽
- Mmm, crisp audio...
- Hi David. Another awesome video. I was thinking that the most likely life to engage in panspermification would be bacteria that are capable of chemosynthesis. That way they could live deep inside of a meteor and would receive some shielding from cosmic rays and from heat from entering a planets atmosphere. I would think it to be almost impossible for a life form to survive in space very long sitting on a small rock and then to survive the heat from entering the atmosphere. What do you think?
- Wouldn't it be cool if we found out we were an abandoned zoo?
- 5:33 I'm glad you mentioned Accidental Panspermia. It's not talked about a lot, perhaps people don't like the idea that we evolved from bacteria in alien poo.
- Q: How do you distinguish between Mars->Earth vs Earth->Mars. Given solar winds I would think Earth->Mars is much more likely.
- Very interesting video. Great job as always, David!
- Incredible. Keep up the fantastic work, David.
- How old are you?
- Great video as always, David! Sadly, I'll miss your 10k achievement (exams). Congrats in advance!
- I didn't knew this
thanks for the knowledge
- Panspermia seems very likely to be what's going on in the universe to me. I've the hunch that for intelligence planets need to have the elements used for synaptic processes and A LOT of good luck. ^_^
