- Sorry my ignorance, are there any bands close to Cassiopea? Just a couple of them for me to get an idea? TIA! P.S: I've been enjoying Masayoshi Takanaka too. I prefer guitar/synth driven Fusion, not much for Sax/Reeds in general driven or Piano sleepy Fusion...
- In many ways I love Kiyomi's sounds better than Minoru.. the original lineup was gold but this band is just as exciting with some really gorgeous textures..
- Issei Noro is Japan's answer to Prince, or maybe now Duke Ellington he's been at the top of his game for so long. This album is as good as anything they've ever recorded, I'm so happy he is still writing and performing. In 2006 I saw Tony Levin play in NY and he introduced one of his songs (Places To Go, I think) with an explanation of how it was about panspemia and that he wrote it because he was disappointed that no-one else had seemingly written a song about it so he'll be pleased with this albums title. Loosh is another interesting title. I presume Mr Noro is referring to the energy consumed by the Archons etc?
