Looking for Life on Mars | NOVA | PBS

Follow along as NASA launches the Mars 2020 Mission, perhaps the most ambitious hunt yet for signs of ancient life on Mars. The spacecraft will blaze into the Martian atmosphere at some 12,000 miles per hour and attempt to lower the Perseverance Rover in the rocky Jezero Crater, home to a dried-up river delta scientists think could have harbored life. Perseverance will comb the area for signs of life and collect samples for possible return to E .
- . . I've seen photographs with trees on Mars, while they hide the fact that the atmosphere is much more substantial and life supporting . . suppressing the real developments that began in the 1950s, while public programs serve as a distraction from technologies that have the ability to easily replace fossil fuel energy production that serves as a major form of geopolitical influence and economic management in an oil based economy.
- you all just making money on rocks, if there will be real stuff, you will never show it, so give us all a brake here.
- Awww! The italian guy working on Fetch’s arm said “Must be Perform- edd autonomously”
Idk why Perform-edd is so cute and funny to me but i absolutely love it 😍
- seriously though... even if life was found somewhere else in our galaxy or even outside of our galaxy, does anyone really expect them to reveal that to us? lol it will be another "weather balloon" lol
- Better take plenty of spare parts for the Oxygen making machine(s).

It doesn't go far enough to visually detect signs of life being limited to it's ability to move to inaccessible places beyond the view of HD zoom cameras.
Many millenia ago possible alien habitation/presence may have taken place, but unless they have gone sub terreanean by now, it's very unlikely any humanoid like lifeforms exist on the martian surface at this time.
If we are to believe from several photos sent back previously from the various rovers already, drone UAOs are monitoring our efforts of exploration discreetly from a safe distance.
Now there's a thought.
