- Mankind is barking up the wrong tree a space station is what is needed a mega structure with its own gravity atmosphere and able to move out of the way of an immanent disaster like a comet or asteroid hit this structure could have earth rivers and everything within it you could also mine in space for resources. Remember earth is space station earth travelling through space so why would we want to move to a barren rock like Mars dull idea. One day the earth will be swallowed by the sun and remember Mankind cant live with out the animals plants and resources on earth so we have to move it all with us.

- Dandelions do change the soil and helps other plants get better air to their roots. Dandelions that crazy wild weed might be a big help when it comes to going to Mars. Dandelions are so nutritionaly dence that they can be used as a survival food and be a soul sourse of vitamins and nutrients. Not ideal as eating only Dandelions is hard on the guts.

There is a difference between going to landing in Mars versus living on Mars day 1. Why did they not grow Soy which is a dominant source of protein on earth. Vegetables that were tested are the least adaptable. Difference between science and growing a salad table. You think?
